U9 Fixtures Update

Would all U9 managers please note: The Shield Q/Fs have been rescheduled for Sunday 7th March and will take priority over league fixtures originally scheduled for that week. All league fixtures continue to be updated on a weekly basis and as a result of postponements in Division One have reached the final Sunday of the season. As the backlog of fixtures builds up, managers are strongly advised to bring forward fixures scheduled for the latter part of April and begin playing on Saturdays. Please be aware there is a full programme of fixtures for Sunday 4th April (Easter Sunday) when some players may not be available. Any problems - please contact Graham....Thanks!

pitch conditions-reversal of fixtures

As the season moves on and with no apparent let off in the poor conditions many teams are to be congratulated on getting matches played. However, we must continue to get matches played where safe and possible, fixture secretaries have the power to reverse fixtures where nesscessary and as we are running out of Sundays and with cup and shield finals also to fit in the need to get matches played safely is more apparent than ever. Fixture secretaries may if your pitch in unavailable offer the match for your opponents to host, this is within the league rules and is already being done by some teams who find their pitch unsuitable because of the elements.

U9 Fixtures Update

All U9 managers are reminded to check the website on a Sunday evening for an update on fixtures - all postponed fixtures are rescheduled on a weekly basis. There is still one 2nd round cup fixture outstanding from 29th November which if not played on Sunday 17th January may result in the quarter-finals scheduled for Sunday 24th January being postponed. Teams due to play in external competition next Sunday are reminded to keep me informed of results etc. As the season progresses managers may bring forward games and play on a Saturday or midweek by mutual consent.....Thanks, Graham.
